The Skolkovo Foundation helps project participants to solve problems connected with intellectual property.

Services in the field of intellectual property that are provided to project participants include the following:
• consulting project participants on intellectual property issues as well as the practical application of intellectual property legislation;
• preparation and submission to the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Patents and Trademarks Regulations (Rospatent) of applications to receive patents for inventions, useful models, industrial standards, as well as applications for state registration of computer programs and databases;
• conducting office work with Rospatent, in relation to submitted applications and requests, preparation of replies to requests for substantive examination;
• representing the interests of project participants in the Chamber for Patent Disputes, in court, as well as in regulation of disputes with the help of a mediator;
• preparation of draft objections, recalls, applications, claims;
• conducting pre-contractual work;
• preparation of draft agreements on the disposition of the right to receive a patent and an exclusive right (on cancellation of the right to receive a patent, on cancellation of an exclusive right, licenses, on the exclusive right pledge, on alteration of the structure of patent holders, etc.), agreements on fulfillment of research, design and experimental and technological works, labour agreements in the area of ownership of the right to receive a patent and exclusive rights;
• in cases stipulated by current legislation, submission of agreements on the disposition of an exclusive right to state registration at Rospatent;
• conducting office work with Rospatent, in relation to agreements submitted for registration, preparation of replies to requests for substantive examination;
• development of internal documentation for project participants in the field of intellectual property, including those that regulate the relations between an employee and an employer.
